Employee Benefits and Incentives

The retention of valued associates provides for a productive work environment. Fair pay and incentives provide an atmosphere conducive to hard work and goal achievement. The following are current benefits and incentives we offer our temporary associates.

Healthcare Program
We are pleased to offer medical, dental, prescription, short-term disability, and life insurance benefits to work-site employees and their families through Essential StaffCARE limited benefit medical plan. This Blue Cross Blue Shield program is underwritten by BCS Insurance Company and administered by Planned Administrators, Inc. Associates are eligible to enroll in this program after their first day on assignment. Coverage will begin the first Monday following the first payroll deduction.

Vacation Bonus
For all states except California, vacation bonus is earned after accumulation of 1,800 hours in a rolling 12-month period. This bonus is calculated using the average pay rate and the average weekly hours for that 12-month period.

Tenure Bonus
In California, tenure bonus is earned after accumulation of 1,800 hours in a rolling 12-month period. This bonus is calculated using the average pay rate and the average weekly hours for that 12-month period.

Holiday Pay
This bonus is acquired after accumulation of 1,200 hours in a 12-month period. An associate must work all scheduled days before and after the holiday to qualify. The recognized holidays are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Referral Bonus Program
Clients and other employees refer over 50% of all new associates. As a thank you, we have developed a bonus program that gives an associate $50 each time he/she refers someone who completes 80 hours on assignment and each time he/she refers a new company to us, who then uses one or more temporary associates for at least 80 hours. We also pay an associate $50 each time he/she refers someone to us who is seeking a full-time non-temporary position and is placed by our company, and each time he/she refers a new company to us that is seeking a full-time non-temporary employee and we successfully fill that position. All referrals must be new to our company.

Direct Deposit
Associates are eligible for direct deposit of their paychecks. This feature is safe, secure, and more convenient than picking up checks in the branch offices or having checks mailed.

Debit Account
For those individuals who are unable to obtain a standard checking account, we offer a special debit account. Associates can open this debit account and have their checks directly deposited into their account. The associate is then given a debit card for this account.

Complimentary Software Training/Tutorials
We offer associates the opportunity to upgrade their skills on a variety of the latest software packages. These tutorials are available at any of our branch locations and are free of charge to all associates.

Resume Assistance and Interviewing Tips
Our branch staff will assist our associates with the preparation of a resume by giving them tips and suggestions on how to best describe their skills and abilities. We also provide associates with interviewing tips and advice.

Awards and Recognition
We have several programs set up that recognize and award associates for their hard work and diligence, including perfect attendance awards and bonuses, associate of the week and/or month awards, and merit reviews and pay increases.
